Aztec Solar's CEO and President, Ed Murray
A little about Ed Murray:
-
Ed has been an active member with SEIA (Solar Energy Industry Association) since 1978.
He is the current treasurer of CALSEIA and has served as a Director, Secretary,
Vice President, and on the chair of its Ethics Committee from 1980-2009.

Recognizing Ed's commitment and dedication to solar, he was voted California's
"Solar Man of the Year" in 1993.

Ed is a NABCEP solar thermal certificant, and is a California-licensed building and solar contractor.

Ed sits on the Standards Committee for SRCC (the Solar Rating & Certificate Corporation).
He was involved with the original writing and implementation of the California Solar
license and helps the California Contractors State License Board rewrite the test every five years.

Ed has been involved in the formulation of legislation and policy advocacy on numerous solar
energy related issues both Federally and in California.

Aztec Solar is located in Sacramento, California, which serves the industry well as Ed
is called upon to testify on solar issues at the California Legislature and California
Energy Commission (CEC).

Ed operated solar thermal companies in Northern California and recently was the Solar
Thermal Director of SunTechnics Energy Systems.
