Aztec Solar is putting the finishing touches on one of the largest current Domestic hot water project in California. The new UCSD $75,000,000 project will meet all the domestic hot water needs of all 807 Campus residents, collectors will be on six of the seven buildings rooftops, canopy, and side wall vertical mountings. 78 collectors on rooftop, 148 collectors on shade structures and 6 evacuated tube collectors on vertical wall. Aztec is on track to finish the solar thermal portion of the installation is mid- October. An excited UCSD campus anticipate a grand opening in February.
